Where Custom Porcelain Dolls are My Specialty
 
  Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a porcelain dollmaker currently specializing in making custom dolls to look like a child or adult at a special moment in their lives. I make all kinds of porcelain dolls including modern children and adult dolls, also fairies, angels and Father Christmas's. My all- time favourite however is painting and costuming antique reproduction dolls.

I have been making dolls for 13 or 14 years now and have studied with many of the best teachers in the industry. I have also entered and done very well in many competitions on the international level.

Currently, I have a studio in my home in Corunna, in the great Southwest of Ontario, Canada. Here I make and sell dolls, supplies and greenware and help clients and students with their dollmaking skills.
 
I would like to introduce you to a beautiful little girl with a very touching story. This is the Renee doll.
 
A couple of years ago a gentleman approached me through my web site about making a doll to look like his daughter. He wanted it to look as his daughter did when she was a child of about 4 or 5 years old.
 
You see, his daughter died when she was a young adult and he wanted a special remebrance of her. Her name was Renee.
 
Renee was a computer programmer and had many friends in cyberspace. Her parents gave me permission to tell you this story.
 
My Renee doll has painted eyes to capture the special blue green color of Renee's eyes. She has long light brown hair and her dress copies a favourite of the little Renee's. In another photo you will see her cute little T-strap shoes which, according to her mother, Renee wore all the time.
